Wow, I was totally inspired by the water researcher from Japan called Masaru Emoto, who did all the experiments with water. He exposed spoken and written words, music, pictures and videos to water. After it was crystalised. The results of the water were truely majestic. He then photographed them and it was amazing how differently the crystals formed into either beautiful shapes after something positive had been said to it or into ugly shapes, if something negative was said. Look here to see more about how they look, really quite amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkbpXRSIUnE
As humans we are say 70% water, so can you imagine the effect on us if we have negative self talk going on and we are listening to it.......yikes!
I was so moved byt this, that I continued to hunt around on youtube and discovered the 'rice experiment' again by Masaru Emoto. In the experiment you take a cup of cooked rice and put it in a sealed container with the words 'thank you' written on it and then you put another cup of rice in a different sealed container with the words 'you fool' on it. You sit the containers a bit apart and then daily you say "thank you" to the 'thank you container' and "you fool" to the 'you fool container'. You do this process for 30 days. After 30 days the results were quite incredible. The 'thank you rice container' was pretty unchanged but the 'you fool rice container' has turned yellow and really gone off. Again the effect of our words on particles, energy....us. Take a look at the results of this one experiment after 30 days.
We are all energy and so what is happening to the rice or water will be happening to us. This proves that what we say is having an effect. I am sure we all do some the negative self talk, to some degree but when you see these results you realise that the negative self talk really has to stop. 'And how on earth do I do that?' I hear you scream. Well, good question. First you need to catch yourself doing it. Then notice what you are saying and then when you see some patterns forming. Then ask yourself, 'is this true? 'I am pretty sure, it won't be. Then you want to start creating some positive affirmations that are the opposite of the negative ones. For instance if you are saying to yourself 'I are stupid' you would then change this to 'I am intelligent'. Then repeat the new affirmation, looking in the mirror 10 times, at least once a day. This is one way to work on this negative self talk. Also another good thing to do is to start to notice all the good things you do, focus on these more. So that these are in your thinking and thoughts more. I know that I plan to re-focus my energy on more positive thoughts and language. How about you?

came across this trailer to a movie on going for your dreams and thought it might be of value for your clients to see, if you feel you connect to it - please pass it on
